The Style List Service Awards

Well Style Pilots it has been a stressful week where some organisations have eased my stress and some have added to it !! Some Organisations are completely stylish when it comes to service and have it sussed while some still need a style service makeover. I decided this week to share my stressful week with you so you can feel better about yours !! Let me sort the go-gos from the no-nos.

TRUE STYLE....................

My number one and truly a Delivery Company revolution. I had some furniture delivered by a Company called BMS transport. Now I am someone who normally buys her furniture from Harrods or stores in Chelsea so I am used to delivery with style. But

 these two guys (Bala and his friend) surpassed any sort of delivery expectation. They telephoned to tell me exactly when they would arrive ,then turned up very courteous, smiley and friendly. they took my furniture upstairs without moaning (and still smiling). They assembled my furniture without asking and it gets even better......they removed all the packing and took it with them. Small Companies like this deserve recognition they also do house removals I for one will be using them again and I hope you will too you will not be disappointed. Truly service with style !

Secondly I want to give a mention to SOUTH EAST WATER I had a torrential water leak in my attic ( I really have had a week) and really the fault lay with

The Best Water Company
Dyno Rod ( boo,hiss) who took 18 hours to come out ! Then sent a man with one arm who could not get into the attic , yes honestly. As my water is metered this obviously pushed up my £££ South East Water sent a meter reader out immediately and deducted the days water off my bill without argument or hesitation . Now that is truly stylish. Dyno Rod you got off very lightly !!

The Biz

I cannot let this section pass me by without mentioning one of the most professional and stylish Companies in UK and I promise you I do not have any shares or family connections at.....+O2 ! I have been with this Company with my mobile phones for over 20 years and they never fail to impress and I am VERY difficult to impress. I will always walk if the service is not tip top and you should too ! Personal service and always answer immediately and should be the way in a communications Company.

Run a mile.................. unfortunately this is not the case for another  communications company VIRGIN MEDIA ! My broad band goes down on average twice a month although they do offer me 40p each time haha.  Left holding for customer service for 35 minutes each time and ALL their customer service points are in India or the Phillipines and they are all called Dave or Norman. It is impossible to find anyone who speaks English. Virgin generally is getting too big for its very unstylish boots and the bigger it gets the more inefficient it customer service is throughout the Virgin Empire. Remember those boots are made for walking and thats what I have done so hopefully my new Broadband with Sky won't cause any problems with my blog. Are you listening Mr Branson.

Said Bag

Finally a Company I have rated at the top of other style lists MICHAEL KORS. I have tried and tried to get hold of a Hamilton studded shoulder bag in Fuchsia for a client. They are all over LA but apparently UK do not stock that colour. Will Bond Street order me one NO! Will Brandi in Michael Kors LA send it across as they have one . NO!  Their website has one so all excited I go to order it only to be told I must telephone  when the telephonist tells me I am not allowed to order this bag for the UK market. What ? Michael Kors get a grip you are global improve your customer service. Your products are stylish but your service is not !! To the VERY bottom of the class !

So you see a bit of a week I obviously deal with many Companies in a week but these were the very best and very worst. Please write to Companies that give you good service.......very stylish but complain and walk away from Companies who do not look after you ...also very stylish
