Tigerlily Bedroom

Tigerlily Hotel

The Tigerlily Hotel George St Edinburgh is a fantasy boutique Hotel. From the bling bling bar area and basement nightclub it is as if entering an Alice in Wonderland world. Close to Harvey Nichols and some really amazing shopping. Completely blown away by this  33 bedroomed Hotel and indeed Edinburgh itself. A fantastic weekend stylistas combine with The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The pool at The London

The London West Hollywood (the pool area) believe it or not this pool is on the roof. This hotel just off Sunset Boulevard oozes style from the moment you walk in. The bedrooms are amazing !Again  Hotel not large enough to be ugly. When in LA, the only place I stay ! The only drawback not overly impressed by the restaurants ,both Gordon Ramsey. Take note Gordon ! The service was outstanding and many showbiz parties held here. I also was given use of the Hotel Limo during my stay free of charge.

Sunbathing at Waves

Waves Barbados OMG do not stay anywhere else in Barbados. Situated just along from the famous Sandy Lane Hotel in St James (Prospect Bay) a very reasonably priced Boutique Hotel with an English owner. The Hotel is separated into two parts Spa/fitness and pure lounging. Three amazing restaurants (F east pan asian cuisine was divine) overlooking the sea never felt crowded and always felt personal. Olly Murs was in the room next door so we hung out all week. All inclusive was never meant to be this good, although Olly not include in every package.

The Wellesley 11 Knightsbridge one of London's newest Hotels just along from the Grande Dame The Lanesborough. All Hotels should be this beautiful 29 suites and 7 deluxe rooms prices starting from £245 it doesn't get better. Check out the website for some unusual and exciting packages on offer. The cigar room is very seductive and appeared to attract a crowd that blended seamlessly into the surroundings. Still new untarnished and very easy on the eye. Mwah mwah !

Novikov
Novikov Mayfair one of the hottest new places in town like Aqua offer two completely cuisines in two completely separate areas. Asian fusion upstairs and Italien downstairs. Always an amazing experience fantastic vibe and Uber stylish great to go in a large group as tables for two are quite close together. The bar area (see picture) very sociable excellent attentive bar staff.

Zuma Raphael St
My final mention must go to Zuma after all these years I still find the food hard to beat. Even the food is style food that is made to share and each dish like a piece of art one after another in front of you. Great bar are with the right type of people but very busy and standing room only if you arrive after 6pm. A great bar for non alcoholic pro biotic drinks I recommend The Bishonen for all you designated drivers. Healthy food healthy drinks somehow partying just ain't what it used to be !!

RESTAURANTS-THE STYLE-LIST

    

                                                  My perennial favourite The Wolseley in Picadilly. Converted from a car showroom the splendour of the dining room is magnificent. I have been brunching and lunching here for several years from light bites to full cordon bleu meals it is very relaxed and not stuffy at all rather like a large cafe than a world famous restaurant. The best Eggs Benedict in London. A great place to star spot from supermodels and actors to Politicians and James Corden.

The Wolseley Picadilly

Super stylish bar Aqua in Argyle St well worth a visit  . Sexy, dark and sultry. Full of beautiful people. Great for just cocktails and a choice of two restaurants Japanese or Spanish depending on your mood.Booking is recommended. The real beauty of this place is the wraparound terraces overlooking London and their blazing gas bonfires to keep you warm. Great if you are a smoker but don't want to miss any of the action !

Bar Zedel

Sorry another Restaurant from the Chris Corbin and Jeremy King stable (see The Wolseley) but you must go here down many stairs (but elevator available) it is like being transported into 1920's Paris on the old Atlantic Bar site (another favourite from my past). Very reasonable restaurant prices in a large busy restaurant. The bar is super smooth. There is also a cabaret lounge with live performances for an extra cost. In a nuclear war this is where I want to be holed up in the basement that is Bar Zedel.
